Burkhardt Öller

Burkhardt Öller ( born November 9, 1942) is a former German football goalkeeper.

Career

1966, the Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig became aware of the time playing in the amateur league Lower Öller and signed him for the season 1966/67, first for the second team of the club. From 1967 to 1971 he was behind the German international Horst Wolter substitute goalkeeper in the Bundesliga team Eintracht. For the 1971/72 season he moved to league rivals Hannover 96 and finished after this season, his career as a professional footballer. Overall Öller denied 30 Bundesliga appearances for Brunswick and Hanover.

Öller was among the players who were involved in 1971 in the Bundesliga scandal: the team of Eintracht Braunschweig had accepted an extra prize money of Arminia Bielefeld for a game against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. Öller this was subject to a three -month ban and a fine of $ 2000.
