Burnside River is a river in the Canadian territory of Nunavut.

It has its origins in Contwoyto Lake. The river crosses the Contwoyto plateau, which is part of the Precambrian Shield. It flows through an uninhabited and inaccessible tundra landscape. He passed the Kathawachaga Lake and the Wilberforce Hills region. Before he pours into the Bathurst Inlet and the Arctic Ocean, opens the Mara River in the Burnside River.
