Contwoyto Lake

Contwoyto Lake is a lake in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut Canadian territory on the border with the Northwest Territories.
The water surface of the lake is 933 km ², with islands is the total area 957 km ². An important tributary is the Contwoyto River, which flows into its eastern end. The Contwoyto Lake is the Burnside River north to Bathurst Inlet, a bay in the Coronation Gulf, drained out. The winter road Tibbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road provides a transport connection to the lake dar.
