Office, Office was a German comedy television series that was produced 1981-1992 by the Bavaria Film. She ran on different weekdays in the regional evening program of the ARD.

Action

The series shows and overstates the everyday office life in the company Lurzer KG, which makes trimming devices. In particular, are the relationship between the people in the foreground, but also business processes are part of the episodes.

The attempts of the management to motivate employees often go awry, so it often goes haywire. The usual everyday problems in a normal office not stay out, this reflected for example in small intrigues, gossip, envy, to small office liaisons resist. Also rationalization measures are on the agenda. A Japanese expert procedure is followed thoroughly that the company Lurzer KG must be closed for the time being. The closure is not of long duration, because there is already an American involvement, and the company is re-opened under the name " Lurzer, Harryman & Sell".

One of the leading ladies of the first season is Elfi Eschke as Gabi Neuhammer, a nondescript, slightly chubby fellow from the typing pool. She is sometimes a bit naive in business matters, but interpersonally on the ball and always very direct. Rolf Zacher plays as Mr. Semmler the loose type, the ever " goes to the doctor ," if he brings his car in for repair. He is also the record holder for being late. A central role is played by the above exact security officer Alwin Thieme ( Gert Burkard ).

A particular merit on the business climate has authorized officer and personnel director Dr. Brokstedt (Joachim Wichmann ). His running gag: he always dictated " of the occasion " Instructions to the workforce, where he gets caught up in a subordinate clause constructs ( to the secretary: " Write the time completed"). This then verschlimmbessert usually the situation.

The first 39 episodes ( season 1 ) are available on DVD as of March 7, 2008. On 20 March 2009, the 2nd season ( Episodes 40-65 ) was released as a DVD. On 9 April 2010 the third and final season appeared (episodes 65 to 85 ).
