The circle Burqin (Chinese布尔津 县, Pinyin Bù'ěrjīn Xiàn ) is a district of the administrative district of the Altay Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture Ili in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the PRC. Its main town is the large village Burqin (布尔津 镇). It has an area of 10369.45 square kilometers and counts 70,000 inhabitants. The Irtysh River flows through the city.
