Burzaco is a city in the Almirante Brown Partido of Buenos Aires Province in Argentina and belongs to the southern zone of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires and was in the 2001 census in an area of ​​22.77 square kilometers 86 113 inhabitants. History

The story Burzacos was determined in the first 300 years since the 17th century on agriculture. The completion of the railway and the arrival of the brothers Eugenio and Francisco Burzaco on August 14, 1865 is considered the birth of the town. On June 5, 1888 at 3.20 clock shook the earthquake in the area of ​​the Río de la Plata in 1888 the settlement.

The area was gradually developed into an urban residential and business situation. 1916 was the establishment of the Biblioteca Popular Mariano Moreno and 1935 the opening of the Universidad Popular de Burzaco ( folk high school). 1965 Burzaco was officially declared a town.
