Bush is a district in the north -east of the St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana.

Geography

Bush lies south of the village Sun. Between Sun and Bush River Bogue Falaya, the islands Coopers Iceland and Iceland Holden is here and northeast of Bush opens into the Tchefuncte runs.

Religion

There are on-site several churches, including the United Methodist Bush Church, the Baptist Sharp 's Chapel Church Of God, the Baptist Hebron Church, the Baptist Jerusalem Church, the Pentecostal Victory Faith Unitedpentecostal Church and the Mormon Fifth Ward Faithway Landmark.

Education

Consist of educational institutions a crèche, Fifth Ward Junior High School with 548 students and 40 teachers as a branch of the High School in Marksville, as well as a branch of Christ Episcopal School in Covington. There is also a branch of the St. Tammany Parish Library.

Traffic

The Louisiana Highway 21 running north of Sun coming to southwest direction Waldheim and Covington. The Highway 41 branches in Bush on the Highway 21 and leads to the southeast direction Talisheek. The coming of the West Highway 40 crosses Highway 21 and ends shortly thereafter in the Highway 41. The railway line of the Illinois Central Railroad runs north -south through the town. In addition to the railway line, there is a landing strip.
