Busy Philipps
Elizabeth Jean "Busy" Philipps ( born June 25, 1979 in Oak Park, Illinois ) is an American actress and screenwriter.
Life and career
Your nickname Busy ( to German literally " busy," mutatis mutandis " overzealous " ) received Philipps by her parents since she was a little kid always on the move. The name of her remained to this day and is also in her driver's license. Philip attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she grew up also. She took acting classes at the Actors Lab in Arizona and at the Oxford School of Drama in England. Later she moved to Los Angeles and studied Dramatic Arts at Loyola Marymount University.
Philip was known among other things, besides roles in the television series Full and Geeks and Dawson 's Creek, as well as her lead role in the film Home Room ( 2002). For her role in the series Dawson 's Creek and was nominated in 2002 for the Teen Choice Award.
Philip is married to screenwriter Marc Silverstein. The couple has two daughters (* 2008 and * 2013). She is also the godmother of the daughter of Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams, with whom she played together in Dawson 's Creek.
