Buzz Cason

Garry Miles ( born November 27, 1939 as James " Buzz " Cason in Nashville ) is an American rhythm and blues singer and composer of the early 1960s.

Life

Garry Miles went under his birth name of James "Buzz" Cason on with the group The Statues in 1959 a chart hit with the song Blue Velvet had. As a soloist, he reached in 1960 with his single Look For A Star No. 16 on the U.S. charts. Under the name of Buzz Cason he wrote in 1967, along with Mac Gayden, the song Everlasting Love, the UK ended up in the version of the band The Love Affair in 1968 to No. 1 on the British charts.
