Caborana

Caborana is one of 18 parroquias in the municipality Aller of the autonomous community of Asturias in Spain.

Geography

Caborana has 1380 inhabitants ( 2011) and an area of 3.69 km ². It is 260 m and was founded on July 16, 1659. The nearest major town is Cabañaquinta, which is 13 km from the administrative center of the municipality of all.

Caborana includes the hamlets, villages and hamlets Buciello, El Cantiquín, Los Collado, Conveniência, Cuarteles del Segundo, Cuarteles Nuevos, Cuarteles Viejos, Legalidad, Llanalamata, Estrada, Nuestra Señora de Fatima, La Pinga, La Primayor, La Provia, El Quintu, La Reguera, La Sienra, Sinariego, El Tarancón, La Tejera, El Tercero, La Torre and Valdefarrucos.

Climate

Pleasantly mild summers with mild also, rarely severe winters. In the highlands of the winters can be quite severe.
