Cai Xuetong

Cai Xuetong ( born September 26, 1993, Harbin ) is a Chinese snowboarder, which was in 2009 Halfpipe Junior World Champion in the year and in subsequent winters reached several World Cup victories.

The first, organized by the FIS competition where Cai took part, was an Asian Cup race in December 2008. At this time 15 - year-old Chinese took fourth place there. A little later she started at the Snowboard World Cup 2009 in South Korea Gangwon, where she placed as 27 in the back of the midfield. That same winter, she won in Nagano the title of Junior World Champion by Queralt Castellet referred the Spaniard in the final is far ahead of second place. After the first passage Cai was still placed behind her two -year-older teammates Sun Zhifeng and Chen Xu to third; in the second run they showed jumps that were as high as the male half-pipe athletes, so they decided the contest itself. The last pre-Olympic World Cup in Calgary to Cai classified as second behind her teammate Sun, so they also decided to halfpipe discipline World Cup with 3040 points for themselves. Less successfully completed the Olympic debut of 16 year olds. In Vancouver, they failed to qualify for the finals and eventually finished the 23 position.

In the prelude to the World Cup 2010/11 Cai cut back successfully: in Saas -Fee, where she had been a year earlier for the first time on the podium, she now won her second World Cup race in front of her team mate Sun Zhifeng.
