Cairoli (Milan Metro)

The Cairoli train station is an underground station of the metro Milan. It was named after the homonymous square ( Largo Cairoli ).

History

End of the 1950s began with the construction of the first stretch of subway Milan, which should drive Marelli by lottery. This involved, among other things Cairoli train station.

The line was opened on 1 November 1964.

Location

As each Station on Line 1 has two side platforms tracks with the Cairoli train station. About the track level results in a mezzanine with monitored access control ended.

Connection

At the station there is a link from the metro line 1 to the tram lines 1 and 4, as well as the bus lines 50, 57 and 61
