Caius Welcker

January Herman " Caius " Welcker ( born July 9, 1885 in Alkmaar, † February 13, 1939 in Schiedam ) was a Dutch football player.

Welcker played at the Haagsche Voetbalvereeniging Quick, where he formed the right wing with Edu Snethlage. 1908 Quick won the Dutch championship. Welcker played 17 international matches for the Dutch national team, scoring five goals. At the Olympic Games in 1908 Welcker worked in two games with. In the semifinals, the Dutch against Great Britain lost with 0:4; in the match for third place, they won against Sweden 2-0.
