Caja Mágica ( Magic Box German ) is an in Madrid, on the banks of the Manzanares River, situated 17 -acre sports complex with a focus on tennis. He is currently the venue for the Madrid Masters, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament of the men and the WTA Madrid, one simultaneously discharged Premier Mandatory tournament of the women.

On November 7, 2010 awards here the 17th MTV Europe Music Awards.

In the 2010/11 season the basketball team of Real Madrid was in the great hall of their League and Euro League games. In the season 2011/12 she served only for the Euro League games as a venue.

In January 2013 was the Caja Mágica one of the venues for the World Handball Championship for men.

Construction

The main building of the complex is the Edificio Madrid Caja Mágica, a sports hall houses the three stages. The Center Court, with a capacity for 12,442 spectators, named Estadio Manuel Santana. The second largest square is called Estadio Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and has 3,194 seats. In addition, is still a third stadium for 2,730 spectators is available. All courts have a moveable roof that can be closed if necessary.

Also part of the complex is Tennis Indoor, an oblong building with 11 tennis courts and Tennis Garden, an open-air facility with 16 seats.
