Camille Jones

Camille Jones (* October 19, 1974 in Copenhagen) is a Danish pop and dance singer - House.

Career

Early on, Camille discovered a passion for music and took in several bands Background voice. In 2000, she released her debut album Camille Jones in Denmark, from which the singles Daddy Would Say and Nothing Comes from Nothing were released. In 2004, Jones released their second album Surrender to the market. She recorded a music video for the single The Creeps, which was nominated for the Danish Music Awards 2005.

The greatest success had Camille Jones with a remix version of the title The Creeps 2007, produced by Fedde le Grand. With the remix and a newly turned video she gained especially in the dance scene recognition. The single was released in the spring of 2007 at No. 1 on the UK dance charts and # 7 on the UK singles charts. In Germany it reached number 17 of the German Dance Charts. On 25 July 2008 The Creeps was brought as a CD single on the German market, but which only reached number 82 in the German single charts.

In 2008, Camille released her third studio album Barking up the Wrong Tree. The album is different from the previous works, strongly influenced by House and Electronica. The singles Difficult Guys and I Am ( What You Want Me to Be) were radio hits in Denmark. In December 2008, a music video was released on I Am ( What You Want Me to Be).

Late December 2008 and early January 2009, Camille Jones toured with Ida Corr and Fedde Le Grand by Australia.

On 7 January 2011 Jones rose along with KATO, Ida Corr and Johnson with the Danish single " Sjus " at # 1, the Danish single charts.
