Camille (singer)

Camille (born 10 March 1978 in Paris), his real name is Camille Dalmais, is a French singer. She is responsible for both the composition as well as for the lyrics of her songs and is stylistically associated with the nouvelle chanson.

Camille studied at the Institut d' études politiques de Paris, when she published Le Sac des filles. In 2005 she was awarded for the Prix Constantin Le Fil. For this album, she received a gold record by the Syndicat national de l' édition phonographique for more than 100,000 copies sold. Meanwhile, they also received a platinum record, there were nearly 500,000 copies sold.

Camille was also a member of the French band Nouvelle Vague and worked on the soundtrack of the animated film Ratatouille with.
