Camillus Glynn

Camillus Glynn (Irish Camillus Mac Fhloinn, born October 4, 1941 in Grehanstown, Killucan, County Westmeath ) is an Irish politician and senator in Seanad Éireann since 1997, the upper house of the Irish Parliament.

Glynn was from 1979 until the abolition of the dual mandates Member of Westmeath County Council. 1988-1989 and 1993-1994 he was its chairman. Glynn ran unsuccessfully in 1997 for election to the 28th Dáil Éireann, but was elected in the same year for the Fianna Fáil Seanad Éireann in the 21th.

Glynn is married and is the father of two sons and two daughters.
