Camilo Sanvezzo

Camilo da Silva called Sanvezzo, Camilo ( born July 21, 1988 in Presidente Prudente ) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Querétaro FC in Mexico since January 2014.

Career

Camilo played in Brazil for the Oeste Paulista EC in his hometown of Presidente Prudente, and from 2009 for Corinthians Alagoano. In summer 2009, Camilo moved to first division club FC Qormi Malta, the contact with the club came over his former teammate Lucas Ramón dos Santos concluded, the set of the striker Camilo search of the association in knowledge. In Malta, the attacker scored in the 2009/10 season in 22 league inserts 24 goals and thus was top scorer in the Maltese Premier League. At the end of the season, the club missed the first time qualifying for a UEFA competition only in a play-off game against the tied Sliema Wanderers. Also in the cup competition Camilo was successfully several times, reaching the final of Qormi where a transformed him penalty could not prevent the 1-2 defeat against FC Valletta. At the end of the season he was also awarded as the best striker in the league before he left after a year and Malta again after Korea joined Gyeongnam FC in the K-League. His dortiger stay, however, was short-lived, after seven matches he already inserts without leaving Korea the end of 2010.

In February Camilo completed a trial with Canadian MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps and finally received in March 2011 a contract. In his for new face for the Whitecaps, he scored two goals against Sporting Kansas City in stoppage time and secured his team so that one point. Camilo was the first player in MLS history, the get two goals in injury time of a match and was awarded for his performance as a player of the week.

In January 2014 Camilo joined the Mexican first division club Querétaro FC.
