Camp Jackson (Korea)

Camp Jackson is a U.S. army base about 20 miles south of Uijeongbu at the narrowest point of the so-called Uijeungbu corridor on National Highway 3 near Dobong -gu, a suburb of Seoul, South Korea.

Camp Jackson is the smallest military installation of the U.S. Forces Korea ( USFK ) and a branch of about 20 minutes' drive away Camp Red Cloud, the headquarters of the 2nd U.S. Infantry Division, the nuclear association of the 8th U.S. Army.

The base is named after Private First Class George W. Jackson, which the Silver Star was awarded the Korean War.
