Campbell is a city in Santa Clara County in the U.S. state of California, with some 39,000 inhabitants (as of 2010 census ). The city covers an area of 14.8 square kilometers.
Campbell is located in the southern part of the Santa Clara Valley, with Highway 17, which runs through eastern and Campbell and Highway 85 in the south there is a good transport connections to the city. In the historic city center, a central train station with rail links to nearby cities. The city of San Jose is located only about ten kilometers north of Campbell.
There are several shopping centers in the city or business complexes, most areas of the city are residential areas. Also, there are several educational institutions in the city. Most homes are single-family homes, although there are some areas to find condominiums, duplexes and apartments. The largest park in Campbell Los Gatos Creek Park near Highway 17, and the second largest is John D. Morgan Park. Established as a city, the place was in 1952.
