Canadian Forces Northern Area Headquarters ( short: CFNA HQ) Yellowknife is the headquarters of the Canadian armed forces in the Northwest Territories. The headquarters is located in the capital of the Territories in Yellowknife.
Is the Joint Task Force North, a sub-unit of the Canada Command at this site. This is in charge of military operations and support. The plant will employ about 150 people are employed. Tasks are the coordination of the military in the territories including the control of areas of the Arctic Ocean, which belongs to Canada.
