Canopy Group

The Canopy Group is a company founded by Ray Noorda investors in Lindon, Utah. It serves a number of technology companies as the parent company. One of its most famous member companies was the SCO Group.

Through a controversial legal case Canopy was forced to reduce investments in other business units and to withdraw from investments. Therefore, SCO heard since the fall Yarro so-called ( Yarro case) no longer Canopy Group and is now independent. Lately Canopy has distanced itself from the SCO and Yarros business interests.
