Lindon is a city in Utah County in the U.S. state of Utah with 11,072 inhabitants in 2009. It is located in Utah Valley at an altitude of 1415 m on the eastern shore of Utah Lakes and extends as a north-south direction, the two kilometer wide strip from the lake shore to the west towering Wasatch Mountains. It belongs to Provo to Lehi continuous agglomeration of Orem / Provo metropolitan area.

The settlement was established as Southfield north of neighboring Pleasant Grove and in 1924 entered as a separate municipality.

The city has grown together in the north with Pleasant Grove and south of Orem and listed in the years since 1990, like all cities in the region a strong growth with conversion from agriculture to suburban economic centers. The relatively late development of the city attracted economically above-average residents, so that the income of the residents of Lindon are far above the average of Utah County.

The city is accessible in north-south direction through the Interstate Highway 15 and the parallel U.S. Highway 89.
