Cantiaci

As Cantae (also Cantiaci or Cantii ) refers to a Celtic tribe in what is now Kent and the South Downs. Its main town, was Durovernum Cantiacorum (present-day Canterbury ). 54 BC attacked the four kings Cingetorix, Segovax, Carvilius and Taximagulus the naval camp of the Roman general Gaius Iulius Caesar in Britain whose second campaign, but were defeated.
