Canton of Canet-en-Roussillon

The canton of Canet -en- Roussillon is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Perpignan, in the département of Pyrénées- Orientales and the Languedoc- Roussillon region. Its main town is Canet -en- Roussillon. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2011, Jean -Claude Torrens.

The canton is 58.05 km ² and has 23.413 inhabitants ( January 1, 2011 ), which corresponds to a population density of 398 inhabitants per km ².
