Canton of Pleumartin

The Canton Pleumartin is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Chatellerault in Vienne and the Poitou-Charentes region; its chief town is Pleumartin. Geography

The canton is located in the northeast of the department of Vienne. To the west it borders the Canton of Chatellerault -Ouest, in the north- west on the canton Dangé -Saint- Romain, in the north- east by the department of Indre, on the east by the department of Indre -et -Loire, on the south by the cantons of Saint- Savin and Chauvigny and on the south and west by the Canton Vouneuil -sur -Vienne. He is on average 56 meters above sea level, between 46 m and 144 m in Mairé in Coussay -les -Bois.
