Canyon Lake (Arizona)

Canyon Lake is a reservoir in the U.S. state of Arizona. It involves one of four lakes of a chain of lakes that were created by the damming of the Salt River. The lake is dammed by the Mormon Flat Dam and is used to supply the metropolitan area of ​​Phoenix with drinking water and hydroelectric power. He is also an important recreational area for water sports and fishing. It is located in the Tonto National Forest.
