Cap Spartel

Cape Spartel ( رأس سبارتيل ) is a promontory in Morocco with 300 meters height above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. It is the most north-westerly point of Africa.

The square beacon was taken into operation in 1864. To identify this, every 20 seconds, a white flash. Its range is about 30 nautical miles.
