Captive Hearts (manga)

Prisoners heart (Japaneseとらわれ の 身の上, Toraware no Mi no Ue ) is a Japanese manga illustrator Matsuri Hino from the years 1999 to 2002. The series is classified in the genre shōjo and romance.

Content

Megumi Kuroishi (クロイシメグミ) is a descendant of Kuronekomaru, a famous thief who had once stolen a samurai and was occupied for protection of dragon with a curse. From then on, had Kuronekomaru and serve his descendants of the family of Kogami.

But Megumi leads the comfortable life of a son of rich parents and a well- eternal student life can afford. The descendants of the Kogami are gone. But one day emerges Suzuka Kogami (コガミスズカ) and Megumi must now fulfill the duty of his family.

Publication

The manga was published from 1999 to 2002 in the magazine LaLa the publisher Hakusensha in Japan. The individual chapters later appeared in five anthologies.

Viz Media brought the manga in North America out, Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand. An Italian translation was published by Edizioni BD. From June 2010 to July 2011, all volumes of the series appeared in a translation by Nina Olligschläger at Carlsen Comics in German.

Radioplay

On 21 November 2001 a radio drama CD was released in Japan for the manga.
