Capurganá

Capurganá is a Colombian Corregimiento, a town with about 1000 inhabitants, mostly descendants of African slaves, in the municipality of the department of Chocó Acandí on the north west side of the Gulf of Urabá.

Capurganá, in the language of the Kuna Indians of the "land of the red chili pepper ", near the border to water an hour away Panamanian border station Puerto Obaldía and strives to tourists. There is no year-round road access. The boat ride to Turbo on the other side of golf lasts two hours. Some seaplanes maintain connections.
