Cara-Beth Burnside

, Also called Cara -Beth Burnside "CB", ( born July 23, 1971 in Orange, California ) is a pioneer in the field of female professional skateboarders and snowboarders. She is one of the best athletes in these sports. She was the first president of the Action Sports Alliance.

Skateboarding

As a skateboarder Burnside won more than 16 titles in competitions such as the X Games or the Slam City Jam. In 2004 she received the title Vert Skater of the Year by the World Cup Skating Committee.

Snowboarding

As a snowboarder, she was the first U.S. Snowboard Team at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan represented and landed at No. 4

She is the only woman who ever won gold medals in both disciplines.
