Carbon/Silicon

Carbon / Silicon, the band of former Clash guitarist Mick Jones and former Generation X and Sigue Sigue Sputnik - bassist Tony James. Both had already played together for several months in 1975 in the punk band London SS.

The band has been founded in 2003. Their first song, MPFree, the subject treated copyrights in connection with internet and music and reflects the philosophy of the band, their music spread exclusively free on the internet. The other texts of Carbon / Silicon dealing with modern themes.

The band has completed numerous appearances and already released 4 albums, of which the first three were sold exclusively on their website for download. In October 2007 the fourth album " The Last Post ", which was first published more than usual sales channels appeared. The self-produced album was mixed by Bill Price, who was also the sound engineer for the legendary London Calling by The Clash.
