Carey Loftin

Carey Loftin ( born January 31, 1914 in Blountstown, Florida; † March 4, 1997 in Huntington Beach, California ) was an American stuntman. As a stunt coordinator and stunt driver, he became world- famous among other things, with Steve McQueen by his involvement in the movie Bullitt.

Through the media, famous and known by name Loftin was by Steven Spielberg thriller Duel, in which he drove the truck as a stuntman. A real performer for the psychopathic truck driver did not exist, as this was never seen.
