The Caribbean reef shark ( Carcharhinus perezi ), is one of the requiem sharks ( Carcharhinidae ) and is a large, fairly well-built shark with blunt, rounded snout. He is 1.5-2.9 m long and has on the back a brownish to brown -gray color. The sides are bronze, the belly is white.
Dissemination
The distribution ranges from the southeast coast of Florida, the Caribbean and Western Atlantic to Brazil. Often it is found also in the Bahamas. He is a bottom dwelling species which is found to corals and also in caves.
Food
To his food belong exclusively fish. Accidents of this kind are known, but usually not dangerous.
Reproduction
This species is viviparous with 4-6 offspring per litter.
