Carl Daniel Jenkinson ( born February 8, 1992 Harlow ) is an English- Finnish footballer who plays for Arsenal FC since June 2011.

Carl Jenkinson began his career in 2000 in the youth academy of Charlton Athletic. Even before he made it to the 2010/11 season the leap into the professional squad, was awarded in early 2010 to the sixth division club Welling United, where he played ten league games until the end of his loan period. In November 2010, the dual citizenship was granted for three months at Eastbourne Borough. But after only four league games Jenkinson was recalled from Charlton Athletic again. His competitive debut for Charlton he gave on 15 December at play in the Football League Trophy against FC Brentford. Until 15 February 2011, he had to wait until he could also be in the league made its debut, but the game against Hartlepool United ended in a 1-2 defeat. By the end of the season he was able to record eight league inserts for themselves.

National
First Jenkinson played four times for the English U-17 national team, but crucial to play for the Finnish youth national teams then because of the nationality of his mother. For the Finnish U-18 national team, he ran at once. His first game for the U-19 National Team Finland, he graduated with a 0:2 defeat against Polen.Sein first goal he scored in a 6-2 drubbing over Moldova. On 3 June 2011, he played his first international match for the U-21 national team in the 0-0 draw against Malta, when he came on in the 66th minute for Henri Toivomäki.
On November 13, 2012 Jenkinson was first nominated by Roy Hodgson for the national team of England, when he was subsequently called up for a friendly game against Sweden.
