Carl Johan Billmark

Carl Johan Billmark ( born January 28, 1804 in Stockholm, † November 1870 in Paris) was a Swedish lithographer, engraver and draftsman. Among his most famous works, the panorama of Stockholm from the balloon, printed in 1868 in Paris, and from Stockholm belongs to Gothenburg. Picturesque views of the Göthakanals and its around 1843. Life

Bill Mark worked for several years as a salesman before he became in 1822 a pupil of the engraver Christian Didrik Forssell. In 1827 he left Forssells studio in order to train in lithography.
