Carl Kockelkorn

Carl Kockelkorn (* November 26, 1843 in Cologne, † July 16, 1914 ) was a German chess composer. Together with John Kohtz he founded the New German school of chess composition.

He published his compositions together with Johannes Kohtz. See under Kohtz and Kockelkorn.

In very early years Kockelkorn named after his stepfather " Kannengießer ". Kockelkorn worked in Cologne as a private tutor.
