Carl Otto Harz

Carl Otto resin ( born November 28, 1842 in Gammertingen, † December 5, 1906 in Munich) was a German botanist. He studied in Berlin and habilitated in 1873 at the Technical University of Munich. Since 1874 he taught at the Central Veterinary School in Munich, 1880, he was appointed professor. One of his research interests lay in the field of seed being. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " resin".
