Carl Wayne

Carl Wayne ( born August 18, 1943 in Birmingham, † August 31 2004 in Pyrford, Surrey ) was a British singer and actor.

He had his first recording contract with the group Carl Wayne and the Vikings. In 1966, he became known as the singer of The Move, which he was a member until 1970. In the following years he worked as a theater and film actor and continue as a singer. From 2000 until his death in 2004, he was the singer of The Hollies. He died after prolonged suffering from esophageal cancer.
