Carla Rust

Carla Rust ( born September 15, 1908 in Burgdamm today to Bremen, † December 27, 1977 in Bad Hindelang ) was a German actress.

She made her debut in 1928 at the Stadttheater in Mainz. In 1930 she was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Nuremberg, where she worked until 1933. After an interlude in Dresden, she acted in 1935 at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin.

In the same year, the blonde actress got her first film role. She was a partner of Luis Trenker in love letters from the Engadine and of Gigli in my heart belongs to you (both 1938). With her husband, the actor Sepp Rist, she stood in the center of the 1940 film comedy The saving angel. Several times along with instep, it was primarily used in an Alpine environment, but came in later years only in very small supporting roles for the course.

It rests in the cemetery in Bad Hindelang, next to her husband. ( Grave already abandoned, plaque on the wall).
