Carlos Fischer

Carlos Lorenzo Brusoni Fischer (* 1903 in Fray Bentos, † 1969) was a Uruguayan politician.

Fischer was a member of the Partido Colorado. From 15 February 1943 to November 9, 1949, he has held a mandate for the department of Río Negro in the Cámara de Representantes in the 34th and 35th legislative period. In the early 1950s he was Minister of Agriculture of Uruguay. In 1958 he was succeeded by his election by the National Assembly on March 7, Arturo Lezama in the chairmanship of the Consejo Nacional de Gobierno after, was at the same time last member of the Partido Colorado in this position and at this time so that President of the Republic.
