Carlos Puebla

Carlos Puebla ( born September 11, 1917 in Manzanillo, Cuba, † July 12, 1989 in Havana, Cuba) was a Cuban singer and songwriter.

In its most classic guitar songs with political lyrics, he tells of the lives of the people of Cuba. In 1953 he formed the group Los Tradicionales with which he gained great notoriety in Cuba. His most successful song is Hasta siempre comandante (1965 ) about the revolutionary Che Guevara.
