Carmarthen Bay

The Carmarthen Bay ( Welsh: Bae Caerfyrddin ) is a 30 km wide and 14 km long bay in the south of Wales. On the coast of the bay are some beaches and parts of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

In the bay, which is still associated with the Celtic Sea, the rivers Towy flow ( Welsh: Tiwy ), Taff and Gwendraeth. The boundaries of the bay are the Caldey Island near Tenby and the Gower Peninsula near Swansea.
