Carol Lynley

Carol Lynley ( born February 13, 1942 in New York City, New York ) is an American actress.

Life

For her performances in the films The misunderstood and The Heart of an Indian, she was nominated in the years 1959 and 1960 for a Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actress. She became famous in the 60s, especially as Missy on the side of Rock Hudson and Kirk Douglas in Robert Aldrich El Perdido and two films by Otto Preminger: The Cardinal and Bunny Lake is Missing. In Germany it was known primarily as a singer Nonnie Parry in the disaster film The Poseidon Adventure (1972 ) and the sole heir to Anna Bell in the horror grotesque The Cat and the Canary (1979).
