Carol Mendelsohn

Carol Mendelsohn ( born 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American screenwriter and producer. She is known for her work on CSI: Miami became known: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI track.

Life & School

Mendelsohn grew up in Chicago. They first went to Smith College, but later she moved and graduated from Cornell University. Then she went to George Washington University and studied in Washington, DC at the offices Wyman, Bautzer, Rothman & Kuchel.

TV / film career

But Mendelsohn wanted to be a lawyer and not enrolled at the American Film Institute. She went to Los Angeles and began to write for the film industry. She worked for Hardcastle & McCormick, Stingray and Wiseguy. As a producer, she worked for Canell Studios on The Trials of Rosie O'Neill and Melrose Place.

In 2000 she took over the production of the pilot episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and now works as showrunner and executive producer.
