Carolin Hingst

Carolin Hingst (born 18 September 1980 in Donauwörth ) is a German pole vaulter.

Career

Like so many athletes, their discipline, she first gymnast and did not occur until the age of 18 to the pole vault. Your first major success came when she in 2001 as a German Vice - Champion for the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton in 2001 and was qualified tenth there. She participated at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In the same year she also became German champion.

There, she won as the best German with 4.65 m in sixth place. In 2010 she won the German indoor championship in Karlsruhe. At the World Indoor Championships, she was eliminated in the qualifying.

Your personal best is outdoors at 4.72 m (9 July 2010 Biberach ) and in the hall at 4.70 m (14 January 2007 Ludwigshafen, Germany).
