Caroline Casaretto

Caroline Casaretto ( born May 24, 1978 in Krefeld ) is a former German hockey player who was 2004 Olympic gold medalist.

Her career began in the midfielder when Crefelder HTC, after which they played until the end of the season 2007/2008 at the Munich SC. In the German national team Caroline Casaretto scored 9 goals in 83 games. She won silver at the European Championships in 1999 and bronze at the European Championships in 2003. Their greatest success was winning the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens after she was four years earlier become with the German team Seventh. Today is Casaretto primary school teacher in Munich.
