Caroline Dhavernas

Caroline Dhavernas ( born May 15, 1978 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian actress. She became famous especially by her starring role in the television series Wonderfalls.

Life and career

Dhavernas ' parents also worked as an actor.

Dhavernas ' career began at the age of 8, when she dubbed animated series such as Babar. At age 12, she was first seen on television. Around the turn of the millennium, she was first seen in a number of Canadian television productions, with the drama Lost and Delirious (next to Piper Perabo and Mischa Barton ) and the comedy ice cold ( with Lee Majors and Jason London) followed 2001, the first appearances in movies. A year later, she appeared in an episode of Law & Order. 2004 saw her acclaimed portrayal of Jaye in the series Wonderfalls, of which only 13 episodes were produced. Since the end of the show she is working increasingly in film productions, such as on the side of David Boreanaz, the classic 2005 film These Girls. In 2007 she was nominated for the Genie Awards for Niagara Motel for Best Supporting Actress and The Beautiful Beast (La belle bête ), together with Patrick Watson for Best Original Song. In the same year she played the wife of an East German aspiring FBI agent in the thriller Breach - betrayal at the highest level. In 2011 she starred in the short-lived ABC series Off the Map, which is produced by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes, in a leading role.
