Casio Wave Ceptor

Wristwatch product line of Casio Wave Ceptor includes only Radio Watches, some with digital, some with analog display. The products sold in Germany watches receive a time signal DCF77 from Mainflingen near Frankfurt am Main. The newer models (from 2006) can also use time signals from other transmitters. The preferred timer can be selected, or the clock automatically searches for the appropriate time transmitter.

Increasingly series models are equipped with a solar panel so that the button cell watch no longer needs to be replaced, despite the relatively high power consumption by the radio signal reception ( virtually ). These button cell is a small battery which receives "excess" energy from the solar cells to solar models. Thus it can always load the clock if necessary provide at least one year alone with electricity.
