Casper Van Dien
Casper Robert Van Dien ( born December 18, 1968 in Milton, Florida ) is an American actor.
Life
The son of a naval officer comes from the paternal side of a family of Dutch immigrants who originally settled in the New York area. He has also Swedish, French, English and Native American ancestors. His first name was given to him as the eldest son of his family, following a family tradition that has been practiced for eleven generations. Van Dien grew up in Ridgefield, New Jersey, on.
His breakthrough as an actor he had with the soap opera love, lies, passion. After that, he appeared in films such as Tarzan and the Lost City, Starship Troopers I & III and Sleepy Hollow.

Van Dien was married from 1993 to 1997 with four years older Carrie Mitchum ( granddaughter of Robert Mitchum ). They have two children, Casper " Cappy " Robert Mitchum Van Dien and Caroline Dorothy Grace " Gracie " Van Dien, for Van Dien has full custody. Van Dien, Carrie and Robert Mitchum played together in 1997 in the film James Dean: Race with Destiny.
Van Dien is married to the actress Catherine Oxenberg seven years older since 8 May 1999. His mother is the former Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. In 2005 the couple appeared in their own reality series, I married a Princess. During the TV season 2006/2007 Van Dien and Oxenberg played together in the American drama series Watch Over Me, which aired on the U.S. television network MyNetworkTV.
Van Dien and Oxenberg have two daughters, Maya (born 20 September 2001) and Celeste Alma ( born October 3, 2003). In addition, Catherine Oxenberg has a daughter from a previous relationship.
Oxenberg and Van Dien are celebrity ambassadors for the non-profit organization Childhelp.
